Editorial policy
Bold Design Review aims for clear, fair and accurate design writing. We distinguish established information from interpretation and make the reasoning behind our conclusions visible.
Accuracy and independence
Writers check names, terms and factual claims against suitable sources and review the wording for clarity. Our editorial choices are made for readers, not to secure a product mention or partnership. We do not present personal preference as universal fact.
Corrections
If you spot an error, use the Contact page and identify the article and the detail in question. We assess correction requests and update material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers.
Partners and paid material
Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears. Partners do not receive control over independent editorial coverage, and a partnership does not imply endorsement.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Where relevant, the image or its caption will say so; illustrations are not evidence for factual claims.
Design is a set of choices you can learn to read.
We look past the finished surface to ask what a design does, what it asks of its user and which alternatives were available.
